PS5 – Caldera
Two years and a half after ‘Unconscious Collective’ Pietro Santangelo (formerly Nu Genea sax player) and his PS5 quintet return to Hyperjazz Records.
Their new single ‘Caldera’ anticipates the new album ‘Echologia’ (January 2024). ‘Caldera’ is an expression of contamination and balance: continuous search for multiculturalism that becomes coexistence of musical languages seemingly distant. A bubbling rhythm that metaphorically exports heat and vibrations from the underground to redistribute them to the surface, where the diverse culture of humanity proliferates.
