ALBERTO RIGONI – Strangers In The Night

In a bold reinterpretation of a timeless classic, Italian Bassist and Composer Alberto Rigoni is proud to announce the digital release of the hard rock cover of Frank Sinatra’s Strangers In The Night. This innovative track, part of the upcoming album Unexpected Lullabies, offers a completely new perspective on a song that has spanned generations.

Masterfully crafted with passion, the piece features the legendary Göran Edman, renowned for his work with Yngwie Malmsteen, and the extraordinary talents of Emiliano Tessitore on guitars (soloist, Ehfar, Vinnie Moore, Mark Boals, Stage of Reality) with Emiliano Bonini on drums. The cover diverges from the original, taking listeners on a unique journey through powerful guitar riffs and vocals that capture the essence of rock.

Additionally, the track is accompanied by an exclusive studio video, offering insights into the making of this unique rendition.

“The original Sinatra piece has always held a special place in my heart, having been an unusual lullaby for me during my childhood. With Unexpected Lullabies, I wanted to explore those memories under a different light, blending nostalgia and rock energy,” says Alberto. “Unexpected Lullabies is not just an album, but a journey through time and genres, challenging conventions and celebrating the evocative power of music. The album is a tribute to music’s ability to connect us with our deepest memories in unexpected ways.”
